What does "Live" mean in Find My iPhone?

Yes how can you change it back like it used to read for iOS 14.. I don’t like the “live” as someone’s location.

If “LIVE” means live, what does “now” mean? Seems like a distinction without much difference.

I have iOS 15, but my location still isn’t showing as live. How do I fix that?

I have noticed this too, but it doesnt refresh. For example, friend is showing 55 min ago in main screen, but ‘live’ when I click on them. There is no buffering or anything, no refresh. ?

So if the person is in a building or somewhere specific. Does the “live” mean he is moving within that same building?

when someone turned on their location for me it just showed “now” but a couple days later it turned into “live” is that correct that it takes a couple of days or should it just do it right away?

If a friend is live and their icon is briefly moving around on map say from front door to across the street all while live, does it mean they are actually walking?

Sorry still a bit confused to what that even means? I’m seeing it “real time” vs what is not real time?
