Hi Sandeep_18,

We're happy to help to lend a hand in Apple Support Communities today.

Thank you for including screenshots, they were very helpful. Looking at those pics you shared, it’s showing the Gmail app as your default mail app.

So, under Background Refresh, you will want to look for Gmail and make sure it’s enabled.

For the mail settings, you will want to go to Settings > Gmail and then look what options are available. If you are not finding the option you want, you will want to reach out to Gmail Help.

If you are wanting to change the settings for the built-in Mail app, you will not find this app listed in Background Refresh. Instead, you will want to go to Settings > Mail > Default Mail App > and you will be looking for a setting that will Fetch New Data and set this to how often you want the Mail app to look for emails. For more information see the section “Check Mail Fetch and Notification settings” found in the article If you can’t receive email on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Let us know if you still need help.

Have a great weekend!
