Current pace in Apple watch

I have recently bought an apple watch series 6.

I can't see multiple or single metric option in my my watch app. I want to be able to see current pace. I can see the current pace option but it is in the list of do not include list and it is not editable when I go into edit mode.

I am following a training program and I really need to see current pace for speed run trainings.
