The wifi only works for certain things Even though on settings it says I am connected and the wifi is doing fine

So my iPad is having a problem with the wifi I can use search engines but any other application doesn’t work discord, Spotify, Youtube even Minecraft. But when I get onto settings it says I am connected to a network What is wrong with my iPad? Something interesting I have found is that when I turn on the wifi the symbol appears in the top right of my screen for a few seconds then disappears also on YouTube it doesn’t I have no wifi but when I press to watch videos it just eternally loads. My iPad is gen5 but is on iOS 15. All other devices work just fine and my MacBook doesn’t seem to have this problem please help me

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support

If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security App such as Norton, these may be interfering with DHCP and preventing your device from obtaining a valid IP Address for your network. The resolution is relatively simple; may only need to temporarily disable or remove the Security App and/or VPN.

DHCP is frequently used to automatically obtain an IP Address from your WiFi Router. Until your iPad has a valid IP Address to connect to your network, you will not have an internet connection. Disabling or removing VPN and/or the offending security App should allow DHCP to operate normally - allowing connection to your network and the internet.

If this resolves your issue, the VPN and/or security App can be reinstated after the connectivity problem has been resolved.
