JBL Elite 750NC not working via bluetooth

I can't get to play audio via bluetooth on my wireless JBL Elite 750NC headset.

I can do the pairing (not without some headaches) and the device successfully shows up in the bluetooth devices menu, but then I can't select it as sound output. When I click on the device in the sound tab, it is endlessly stuck on the loading icon. It seems that the macbook also is forcing the headset to switch on and off because it would continue to turn on and off itself without me doing anything about it.

I've been rebooting the macbook and resetting the headphones and forgetting existing pairing multiple times without success. The headset works with my android phone and other devices.

Good Afternoon D_Ceee,

We understand that you're having a problem with your JBL headphones not playing audio, so let's see how we can help with that.

To get started, are you able to pair and play audio with a different pair of headphones or speaker on your MacBook? In addition to that, are you able to play audio with the JBL headset while paired with a different device?

Check out the steps of the following resource to see if this helps to clear up what may be occurring:

If a Bluetooth headset doesn’t work with Mac

Be sure the headset is charged to rule out that from being a possibility. In addition to that, try using the audio cable to connect with your MacBook to see if the sound plays that way for you.

If you see that other headphones are able to work with your MacBook, it may be best to reach out to JBL Support so they can look into this with you regarding the headset.

We hope that information is able to help with clearing up what is occurring.

Have a great day!

Yes to both, other devices play through my macbook as bluetooth output and I can use my headphones on any other device. If wired, the headphones always work.

Again, I manage to pair my headset but when I try to choose them as output device, the macbook is forcing my headphones to turn on and off (I can hear my headphones prompting me that they are turning on, when they were on already).

After the output choice fail and my headphones turns itself on, it will disconnect from Macbook bluetooth. If I try to connect again, nothing will happen.

Also, if I turn off my headphones, they would turn on and off on their own (again I get prompted that they're turning on a million of times, until I deactivate Macbook bluetooth)

I've been trying resetting bluetooth model, rebooting both devices, deleting audio plugins. I'm pretty desperate
