I had this problem in iOS 14 and it eventually was fixed. Well on my new iPhone 13 Pro running the latest iOS 15 I’m experiencing the same problem again. *sigh*
If I swipe left to access App Library and then try to use the search function the keyboard fails to appear.
Not happy that I have to reboot my phone to fix. It got pretty annoying in iOS 14 as it would reoccur pretty frequently. Hopefully not as often in iOS 15.
I see the difference from the App Library screen, I have the alphabet here on the right side of the screen, when I tap in the search bar or scroll up.
Presumably you have multiple apps open.
Close all open apps & restart the iPhone.
This will terminate all applications that could be using the keyboard at the same time.
Tap once in the search bar, you will see the keyboard.
When you scroll, the keyboard disappears.
Then tap on an app you are looking for, you don't need the keyboard.
Did you forget to tell what exactly is this problem that you are referring to? There is no way for us to know what the problem is that you are talking about UNLESS you tell us. Thanks.
