iPhone home button not working

My iphone 8 home button stopped working randomly. There was no water damage, I didn’t drop it etc. It doesn’t vibrate or click anymore and touch id doesn’t work. It started working for a few day after I updated to ios 15 but then stopped working again, I just updated to ios 15.0.1 to see if it would work again but it doesn’t.
