Worked earlier today, now displaying blank screen. Device has power. Menu or Home no response. Appears to respond to reset (blinking lights). Tried different HDMI cable, and different TV inputs, but no display. TV works independently.

If your Apple TV doesn't turn on - Apple Support
Try cycling through video settings until you have a valid setting.
“Hold Menu and Volume Down for 5 seconds, then release. Your Apple TV will switch to a new resolution every 20 seconds. Select OK to choose a resolution or Cancel to quit.”

Tried connecting the Apple TV 4K to the iMac using the RJ45 port with a CAT5 cable but iTunes did not recognize it.
That won’t work. Ethernet is not a service connection for users.
If your connections are correct and if it still doesn’t work as it should, then I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).

Tried video setting cycling but no response. Screen still dark.
The power light remains on, and blinks sometimes.

Verify the HDMI connection. Try disconnecting on both ends, then reconnect.
Try a different HDMI port on the TV.
Try connecting to a different TV.

We only have one TV.
Still nothing.
