cant preview whatsapp images/audio on lockscreen ios

Sounds like you're not seeing previews when your screen is locked, is that right? Are the notification settings for the app set up correctly? If you are running the latest version of iOS 15 ( 15.0.1), you can go to Settings > Notifications > WhatsApp > Show Previews and select "Always".

I am facing the same problem. I cannot preview images, videos and stickers like i could earlier on whatsapp. This is when the screen is unlocked. Been facing it after upgrading to the new ios14.8 and ios15

Touch and hold (or long-press) the message notification you want to view from your locked screen. You can read it without actually opening the app and going online.

i can not preview all the WhatsApp message (from the same person) when there bulked together, I can just press and hold on the last message because I have no way of clearing the one message to see the others. Help

Tab on the WhatsApp notification and hold it …. the image opens automatically
