Apple Music iOS15. Resource unavailable

Anyone know how to resolve the “resource unavailable” error in Apple Music, using iOS15?

The old fixes no longer seem to work in iOS15.

That didn’t help. It seems like the only option working for people is to disable the lossless audio option. Apple already has an option to downgrade the audio quality while using cellular data, but lumps 5G into the WiFi option.

The error is occurring with Apple Music while trying to stream “Lossless” audio over a 5G network. Hopefully Apple can fix this, or allow an option to downgrade the audio while streaming from 5G separate from Wi-Fi.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities PharmTrooper,

From our understanding, since updating to iOS 15, you get an error message when you try to play music in the Music app, is that right? Apple recently released iOS 15.0.1, does this continues after updating to that iOS version?

Since noticing this issue, has the Music app been closed out completely and relaunched: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch.

Hope that helps!

It’s not the iPhone 13. It’s IOS 15. My 12 ProMax does it since the upgrade to .01. I have had issues with Apple Music since the lossless update. I have a support ticket in on another issue that they couldn’t fix at that time. I am still waiting for that. Usually if you hit the back button the song will then play. I tried syncing again and that doesn’t work. Logging in and out doesn’t work. It’s an iOS bug.

In my case I’m only seeing this issue crop up when I’m on cellular. Both LTE & 5G seem to have a problem even though my speeds are at least 50mbps. YouTube doesn’t seem impacted. If anything I’ve noticed I encounter the issue less when I turned off iCloud Private Relay. Admittedly, though I wish I could keep the feature on. I just hate when ads follow me around.
