My geometry dash closes as soon as I open it. I have tried restarting and deleting the app and nothing works. What do I do?

Hey, Geometry Dash won’t work on MOST Apple devices on the update iOS 15 or above. The developer of the game (Robtop) said he was gonna fix that in the next update for the game (2.2). He’s planning to release the update sometime this year but we all know how that goes, it was also supposed to be out around Christmas of 2018. Anyway, you can either downgrade your device or you can wait for 2.2 to come out.
I have the same problem on my iPhone X. It’s a ROBTOB issue. this might get fixed in 2.2, which won’t be here for a long time.
Did anyone find a solution to this? We just purchased this app for our son to use on an ipad and we haven't been able to get it to launch.

I have an IPhone 8 on IOS 15. I have downloaded Géo dash light and it won’t work but my friend can play the full version on his second gen SE. Weird
DUDE SAME MT FRIEND HAS THE FULL VERSION ON HIS 2ND GEN SE LIKE WHAT?! And it works perfectly
I’m having the same issue. The app store says that geometry dash works on an iphone 8, so I find it hard to believe that your device is the issue.
