Hello, josia7.

There are several ways you can fix this issue, I believe you may be having the same issue as others with the Muffled Voice on Siri.

You may be able to fix this by Force Resetting your device.

Assuming your device is one of the recent models (iPX-13), you may also find out how to Force Reset your device by searching your model name + how to Hard Reset.

Below is how to Hard Reset devices iPhone X - 13 (Pro, Pro Max, Max, S, and R Variants Included)

  1. Press and quickly release the Volume Up Button.
  2. Press and quickly release the Volume Down Button.
  3. Press and HOLD the side button until you see the Apple Logo appear on your screen.

Afterwards, try to see if Siri has the desired voice you've chosen. If the problem persists, please contact Apple Support.

I hope this helped! :)

So yes, I just found a way to fix Siri’s voice AND STILL HAVE LOW POWER MODE ON. All you need to do is go to settings, search low power mode, and then toggle it off (It doesn’t seem to work on the control panel, so do it in settings) once it is off wait a few seconds, turn it back on, and test Siri out, it worked just like that for me when the control panel way didn’t work. :)

Same for me, sounds like first gen Siri robotic voice when using maps on CarPlay. However, Siri sounds correct if I ask it to do something like call someone or read a message while using CarPlay. Weird… it only started robotic voice on iOS 15.2 after purchasing a iPhone 13 Pro Max. So, it has plenty of memory and battery.

same issue. I never use low power mode, but it still happens randomly (with low power mode off). I found that toggling low power mode on and back off fixed it. We'll see if it keeps doing it.

Update: I was incorrect. Toggling low power mode did NOT fix it. Some features (like telling me the weather or the time) uses the normal Siri voice. But using Siri to send a text message still uses the robotic muffled voice. Rebooting the phone (this time) fixed it, but often does not. It seems to be random.

After the update to ios 15 , Siri’s voice changed to some wierd male robotic voice. I did reset settings , tried changing the voice . No hope
