I purchased Airpods on 1/27/2021 but the coverage is showing as expired

I am not certain, but it’s certainly possible (likely?) Meijer is not an Authorized Apple retailer. That would explain what you’re seeing.
Its a brand New sealed box . I purchased it from Meijer Store
