sustain pedal won't turn off in GarageBand

I'm using an m-audio prokeys as my master keyboard. whenever I use the sustain pedal on any sound it won't release. the sound just keys playing. I've tried turning the keyboard off and on. rebooting the program even using a different pedal.

When I switch to Logic Pro X everything works fine until I press the sustain pedal. Then it will not release the notes. It just holds them forever. Seems strange that it has problems in Logic, but it works fine in Garage Band. Any direction would be appreciated.

Midi sustain pedal not recording After I have updated my software to Logic Pro X 10.4.5, the sustain pedal of my Midi device (Technics keyboard) does not register or record. The pedal works when playing the keyboard, but as soon as I record MIDI, the sustain appears to be switched off. I can see that no values are coming through when I step on the pedal and playback also produces a recording without and sustain. Everything was working before the upgrade, so this is not a hardware problem or a problem with my Midi device, it has to be the new software. Can anyone please help?

No sound from midi keyboard I'm using a casiotone st 200 keyboard with GarageBand Never had any trouble using it until lately Now when I create a new project and select Midi It recognizes the midi but there's no response in GarageBand It says 1 midi is detected Am I not doing something I should be Please help
