Until yesterday, I have been able to send and receive MESSAGES from a friend who is using Android on Both my Mac Mini AND iPhone 12Max. TODAY, I CANNOT send messages from the computer; it works perfectly well with the iPhone. I get "Message Send Failure"; "Not delivered".
I did NOT change anything since yesterday. WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?

If you can’t send or receive messages on your Mac
Take a look over the steps in the above article, including checking that Text Message Forwarding to your Mac is still enabled in Settings of the iPhone. Checking that Messages on your Mac is signed in with your Apple ID and is enabled with your Apple ID and Phone Number can also help to identify if any activation issues exist. This can be found in the Messages app > Preferences > iMessage on the Mac.
