Is your phone updated to ios15.0.1?,the issue was fixed with this update.

Using watch to unlock iPhone when wearing a mask Turning on unlock with watch won’t work - says can’t communicate with watch - but everything else is working (ping phone for example) - both watch and phone are unlocked - any ideas?
