iphone 13 Pro Max with blocked texts or SMS short code blocks

I am having an issue and I do not know what to do. Somehow some of my text messages got blocked, from my bank none the less. The bank said that this is a carrier issueand I must call them. And ONLY they can unblock these texts. Oddly, texts are also being blocked from my carrier. So I have to use my web browser rather than their apps for everything, including loggin into their sites. Can I unblock them in my iPhone 13 Pro Max? I have deleted ALL blocked numbers in both iMessage and Phone. And still no luck. Nothing works and I have gotten no help from ATT at all. Apple says this is a carrier issue, and the bank also agrees as when I senf them a HELP text to their 227 number, I will not recieve a reply as ATT's servers are blocking everything.

You're going to need to work this out with AT&T. Call them back. Even if you push the prompts for tech support, the first person you talk to will be essentially a regular customer service person with a bit more training. Politely but persistently, request that your call be escalated to the next level. At Verizon, we called it "Tier 2" but I don't know what AT&T calls it.

Thanks, atleast we now know who to call to fix the issue. And it was simple. Turn off Wifi and cellular. Cellular is the only way a service provider can push setting updates to your phone. With ATT on phone they will tell you when to turn on CELLULAR and you will be pushed new settings. And these short message texts can come through again. You can then turn on wi-fi also. Oddly , ATT uses short message texts and they were not even reaching me. How? they sent a text to my iPhone and I never recieved them. That convinced them their own server was blocking these texts! and they were from ATT!

I called a patient who works for them and a senior tech advisor came on and we fixed this. With ATT they are vthe onoy ones who can unblock sms-texts. I wish ATT made this avaliable to their support staff, they should be pushing out a reminder about this. Evidentaly most other carries allow this to be done directly by the customer on their smartphone, but not ATT.
