I use the timer on my watch when I'm at the gym or stretching at home. I used to have this problem all the time. I would listen to music on my AirPod Pros and set a timer on my watch. Every time the timer went off, the music would stop playing. I fixed it before by putting my watch on airplane mode. But since the new iOS 15 update on my phone and the Watch OS8 update, putting my watch in airplane mode no longer helps.

On the synced iPhone go to the Clock app > Timer > tap When Timer Ends > Is 'Stop Playing' selected? Does this occur on your iPhone if you play music?

Thank you for your help. The "Stop playing" option is not selected on my phone. Should the music stop playing when the timer goes off if it's not selected?
I tested the timer while playing music, just on my phone. When the timer goes off on my phone, it also stops playing the music on my phone.
