Music stops when timer’s up

While training I usually set a timer between a session and another one, I always listen to Apple Music while training through my AirPods Pro. Unfortunately when the timer’s up the music stops from being reproduced (the Apple Watch is silent, just vibrating). What I would expect is keeping on listening to Apple Music even if the timer is up. In my opinion, the flow while training must be preserved
