Sync contacts on Telegram

with the WhatsApp being down I downloaded telegram but even so I have the option “sync contacts” on; it still does not sync them.

Whatsapp saves contacts but not to Mac Hi, On my Mac, I primarily use MS Outlook for contacts (Exchange) and the contacts auto-sync to The Mac Contacts app. If I create a new contact on either it immediately shows up in both, and also my iPhone Whatsapp app. However, if I create a new contact using Whatsapp on my phone, it doesn't sync the other way, i.e. I can't find it anywhere on my Mac. So, if Whatsapp isn't saving a new contact to the contacts visible in Outlook or Contacts, where is it saving it to? Access to Contact by Whatsapp on my phone is enabled. The reason I want to know is so I can change setting such that a contact created in Whatsapp will sync to my Mac somehow. Thanks in advance

can’t change access to contacts for apps in settings Hi, I’m unable to modify which apps have access to my contacts. I recently downloaded telegram and signal and want to give them access to my contacts but in settings < privacy < contacts, the only app there is WhatsApp but even that is in grey so I can’t toggle it. In settings < telegram/signal, ‘contacts’ doesn’t show up either even though both apps directed me to settings. I have an iPhone 11 & latest iOS 14.3. Any idea why this may be? could it be some setting somewhere other than privacy ? update: I tried a hard restart & also reset my privacy settings to default but still have the problem - and now I can’t get WhatsApp to access my contacts either...

contacts created on iphone are never synced to mac's imessage app hi, this problem that any new contacts created on my iphone are never synced to my mac's imessage app has been an issue for a very long time. How can i save a new contact on my iphone (which is now an SE 2020), and have it show up in my mac's imessage app, so i can write new messages by entering the contact in the search bar? as it is, the only way i can find a contact there via search is if i had already been texting with them! I have spent hours on the web trying to find the answer, with no luck.

What is the exact error message you receive, if any? We recommend contacting the developer using the steps here: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support This will allow them to assist you with syncing contacts.
