The letter "d" is randomly added to text while typing.

When in an application that uses text. My Imac is randomly typing the letter "d".

I have changed keyboards.

I have left the keyboards turned off (wireless).

Further, when I am not in an application that allows typing, the iMac randomly plays the "basso" sound (this is the notification alert sound set in the sound preferences)

Hey m Square,

It sounds like you're having an issue with keyboards typing the letter "d" unexpectedly as well as hearing unexpected notification sounds. We can understand wanting to look into that further. We want to help.

We'd recommend testing to see if the same issues occur in safe mode. This article explains how to start to safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode

Thanks!
