Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My keyboard is randomly adding repeated whole words while I am typing. For example, I will be typing and I type the word "receive" and my keyboard adds it twice so that the second version, (the one I didn't type) appears to the right of the cursor....it happens with all different kinds of words and programs....I am on a 2019 iMac and running MacOS Monterey 12.4.....
That's really odd, and I'm wondering if it is similar to this recent complaint: Delete Key removes space too - Apple Community
The cure was to restart the Mac in Safe Mode, followed by restarting it normally:
