homepod mini audio lag

homepod mini is experiencing serious lag when it comes to playing songs and videos on my mac mini, i cant restart my computer ten times a day to fix this problem, please let me know if theres another solution.

2-3 second delay in audio with HomePod Mini Hello, I am got the HomePod mini hopign to use it for Zoom audio. Using MacBook Pro 13in M1 2020. Big Sur 11.5.2 I have read other threads where there is a 2-3 second delay and this is my case too. Even starting/pauzing Apple music there is a delay and using the HomePod mini as an audio output for Zoom is unusable since you can see the person speaking but the sound doesnt come through immediately like my JBL Flip 4 bluetooth speakers. Any suggestions? I wanna keep the HomePod Mini but this issue needs to be resolved in either the OS All have the latest software, been restarted, refreshed and re-everything. Still no success. :( Please help.

iMac/HomePod cannot hold music connection Hi all! I'm on an refurb 2019 iMac. I had pretty significant daily usage problems with it, and called into Apple Support and we figured out that the refurb people hadn't correctly formatted the drive. Anyway, that solved pretty much of all of my daily usage problems, but during the trouble shooting phase we noticed the keyboard and trackpad both losing Bluetooth connectivity. (Plugging them in worked fine, and now they're back to full Bluetooth functioning.) ANYWAY--the one thing that the hard drive fix didn't fix was the computer's inability to stream audio to HomePod (Spotify, YouTube) for more than 2-3 seconds without sputtering and stopping, like a CD skipping. (This was happening pre-HDD fix.) I've tried this with two different HomePods, same results/situation. Any chance this is hardware related? Any way to zero in on that? Thanks ya'll! (Oh and I do *not* have this problem when broadcasting to either HomePod from my iPhone-completely flawless from it.)

There will be sound delay when connecting MACBOOK m1 PRO 16-inch to HOMEPOD2? My macbook M1 pro is connected to my homepod 2 and when connected to something Apple puts out there is a horrible 1-2 second sound delay. Haven't dealt with this issue for a long time. Can an Apple employee answer us? this problem is annoying.

We’d be happy to help you!

We recommend restarting all of the devices including your router for a possible connection issue.

You can also test the issue with booting up with safe mode through the steps in How to use safe mode on your Mac to see if that fixes it.
