Usability issues in 15.0.1

I am quite unhappy with iPhone 12.

Most commonly used icons are hidden behind the notch and thus inaccessible!

The so called large screen size is ineffective because in the landscape mode, the sides are greyed out.

The apps and UIs don't adapt to the orientation change.

I updated the software to 15.0.1, and now the messages only appear in the landscape mode, and I must scroll up to see the messages!

Perform Two Things:

A. Start with a Restart:

Restart your iPhone, and see if it then is fixed.

Also...

B. Reset the Home Screen Layout...

Go Here: Move and organize apps on iPhone - Apple Support

Scroll to: Reset the Home Screen and Apps to their Original Layout

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Reset
  4. Tap: Reset Home Screen Layout
