Shared folder makes user exceed standard iCloud storage.

Hi all. I've shared a folder from my 2 TB iCloud storage subscription.

However, the person I've shared it with has now placed its contents in her iCloud folder on Windows 10. As a result, she's exceeded her standard 5GB of iCloud storage as this folder also has her photos, etc, in it.

I thought a shared folder meant she could have access to the folder on my iCloud subscription, add or delete files, etc, without it affecting her own iCloud subscription and storage capacity?

Is there a way to make the shared folder outside of the iCloud drive folder and somewhere else on her PC so that its filesize doesn't count on her own iCloud 5GB limit?

Many thanks

James
