keeping macbook always connected to a power adopter will effect the battery

can i keep my mac always connected to power adaptor will it effect the battery of my mac or not

when i start using mac for sometime i use it on battery like 10 % (i will use it from 90% to 80 % ) so create some activity in battery and then connect to a power outlet when charge was at 80% percent and use it for 5 to 6 hours and disconnect the charger and use it for a while like 10% discharge again (100% to 90%) and then shut it down (not just closing lid)

is this the good practice or not

You can leave the computer connected to power whenever convenient to do so. Leaving it plugged in will not damage the computer or the battery. Leaving it plugged in reduces the rate of accumulation of battery cycles.
