My apple tv shows verification failed. when i plug into my mac air and try to download the software for a reset, it gets an error, file was corrupted and to try again. I am stuck in an endless loop without being able to use the Apple tv

is there any other solution for this??

If you’ve tried to restore the Apple TV multiple times using your MacBook Air, it’s likely your Apple TV is experiencing some sort of hardware issue. I would recommend you contact Apple support to check if you’re under warranty, if not, it may actually be cheaper for you to purchase a new one, as most models appear to have a replacement cost of $149 for most models.
