My apple tv shows verification failed. when i plug into my mac air and try to download the software for a reset, it gets an error, file was corrupted and to try again. I am stuck in an endless loop without being able to use the Apple tv

If you’ve tried to restore the Apple TV multiple times using your MacBook Air, it’s likely your Apple TV is experiencing some sort of hardware issue.
