Guided access

I just got a new iPad and as trying to set up guided access and it turns on but when I try to turn it off and passcodes showes up the keyboard won’t let me type the code. It’s like it freezes in that screen. Have rebooted the iPad and updated still the same

Being a new iPad and getting all these issues, I suggest returning this. 14 days is the time limit to return it.

Try a New Passcode:

See if you can use the current passcode, when assigning a new passcode. Be certain you keep a handwritten, hardcopy of the password, sorted in a private location that only you are aware of, and only you have access to. Go Here: Set a passcode on iPad - Apple Support
