Hi - since upgrading to iOS 15 , I have noticed video playback is very patchy. For example, if I record a video on my iPhone 12 Pro, the playback can be somewhat poor. Seems like the data packets are dropped or something. Sound get distorted and the frames pause and jump forward. Anyone else seen this? Any resolution tips?

Thanks Missy5937. I performed a series of testing using other Apple devices, versions of iOS and apps.
I am confident the issue is restricted to Facebook Messenger & Facebook Stories running iOS 15.X. I cannot replicate the issue on iMessage or WhatsApp. I've logged a ticket with FB. Can you do me a favour please and have one of your friends with an iPhone 12 Max Pro record a video and send to you on FB Messenger and see if you have the same issue?

This is in Settings > General > About. Does this only happen with videos shot on your iPhone or does it happen with other video as well (Apple TV, Netflix, YouTube)? Do you find this happens with videos shot at different FPS or in Slow-Mo?

Hi - I’m running iOS 15.0.1
I get the problem on any video I record or any video sent to me via Messenger. My daughter also has a iPhone Pro Max 15.0.1 and same issue. I have a video showing the issue but can upload to this chat as it’s only allows photos.
Sorry, only videos stored on my phone. I don’t get the same issue with anything streaming (YouTube, Netflix).
