Watching purchased TV programs after canceling Apple TV subscription

Is it possible to continue to watch a purchased TV show after canceling the Apple TV subscription? I purchased the full 6-series set of "The Adventures of Superman" and need to know if I will still have access to watch these episodes on my TV once I cancel Apple. I know these are available to watch through the iTunes library but can only watch these on TV by casting. Does anyone know if I can still access purchased programming by using the Apple TV channel after cancelation?
