Screen sensitivity and ProMotion performance with protective glass

Installed new glass recently from same brand, which I used with my 12 Pro, but on 13 Pro it immediately started to feel less responsive and even laggy.

Feels like it affected ProMotion performance, but maybe just low responsiveness makes me think like that?

Hi Galachiev,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you are experiencing a lag in performance after installing a glass screen protector. Is that correct? We'd like to assist.

It is possible that the protector could be causing issues with the screen responsiveness, so we recommend trying without to see if you notice a difference.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

Yes, this is protector. I removed it and a phone immediately started working flawlessly. But does it mean that I should always use it without any protection? Or maybe Apple has some recommended brands, which don’t create such problems?

I used my iPhones with protective glass almost for a decade now, but this the first time when I noticed some problems.

Does new 120hz screen require more responsive protective glass?
