After updating to iOS 15.1 Website Data/History will not clear

Just updated my iPad to iOS 15.1 and now find when I try to clear browsing history in Safari using Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data and then check Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data the entries have not cleared.  I tap Remove All Wesite Data and the history and some data is still there.  Repeated attempts - it won't clear.

If you have installed iPadOS 15.1 as indicated, you will have installed a beta version. With any beta release, you should anticipate issues.

The Terms of Use that govern participation within these Support Communities precludes discussion of beta software. Guidance here is limited to restoring the current production version of iPadOS.

If you are currently enrolled in a beta programme and wish to return to using the current production version, this support page provides the necessary information to remove the beta from your iPad:

I am not knowingly a member of any group that willing downloads Beta versions of operating systems. Why have Apple issued this Beta version into a public domain ? I now have a number of issues including the one detailed above which by the way cannot be simply resolved as Apple support says without erasing all the data on my ipad.

How do I revert to the previous ios version without doing this, the Beta profile is not where Apple says it is

When this question was raised by the original poster (7th October), iPadOS 15.1 was only available as a beta release.

Roll on one month to 7th November (today), iPadOS 15.1 is the current “production” release. If you have updated to iPadOS 15.1 since 25th October, you will be running the current (not beta) version.

If you are experiencing any specific issues, start a new thread - outlining your problem. No doubt a contributor here will be able to offer advice or guidance.

Well I have the same bug but not using a beta version. It’s the general download. I’ve also seen this issue with previous releases and request Apple to fix it again now. I know this software is complex but as it’s been an error from previous versions, I would have thought this would have been caught in quality control. Or possibly module version control
