can Mac receive calls while iPhone is turned off?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Thanks for reaching out to us with this inquiry about receiving calls on your Mac. We're more than happy to provide some insight into this for you. The ability to do this requires use of the Continuity feature. In order to receive phone calls on your Mac from your iPhone, specific criteria must be met. One of these if that both devices must be powered on, and connected to the same internet network. If either device does not meet all the requirements, this function will not work.
