XCode keeps crashing when installing

Hi guys! I have a 2017 Mac Book Pro fully updated with MacOS Big Sur 11.6 and I have been trying to download Xcode for the past 3 days. I go into the App Store and I download it through there and it takes hours and once it is done and is on the installation part it forces my computer to shut down and I get a message in English and other languages that something was wrong and my computer will restart in a minute or so.

I have 16GB memory and 1TB so space isn't an issue.

I really want to get this sorted so I can make my first app! Any ideas?

Delete any old insatller. try an alternative link:

https://xcodereleases.com/

(note for developers—App Store submissions require current Xcode.)

If you still have an issue— try a Safeboot and launch the installer from that environment.
