Hello. By default, the notifications on your Apple Watch mirror what you have configured on your iPhone. If you want to allow notifications on your iPhone but not your Apple Watch, however, you can do so by following the steps in this KB. You can adjust your notifications settings for the Apple News app either within the "Watch" app or directly on your Apple Watch.
