Question

Hi, sorry for my english. Just wanted to ask about an issue with my wifes iphone 11 pro max. Its still under warrany and accidentaly got wet during the rain, not even been under water just a few rain drops, after that the purple line showed up on the screen. As apple declarate that ip 68 is water proof protection to, but the local authorised apple warranty shop sads that this is not a warranty issue. Please advise is it a warranty issue or not? Thanks in advance ;-)

Sorry, see the following from iPhone 11 Pro - Technical Specifications

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are splash, water, and dust resistant and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 4 meters up to 30 minutes). Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge a wet iPhone; refer to the user guide for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.
