Music on ipod touch

My ipod touch will no longer change songs or shuffle. Just keeps playing the same song over and over.

Any thoughts as to this?

Thanks

Turn off the Repeat 1 function.

Most (if not all) iPod models cycle through the following options when you tap the Repeat button:

  • Off - repeat function is off, each song plays once and when the last song finishes, the player stops
  • Repeat - repeat function is on. When the last song in the list plays, the same list plays again
  • Repeat 1 - when the current song finishes, it plays again. When the player is in Repeat 1 mode, there is a small 1 in the "repeat" arrows. See the screenshot below
  • Off
