Ipad Pro - Volume Issues with other apps when broadcasting

Hi guy's

Issue here

I'm trying to host a quiz on line through MS teams and or Skype. The quiz is app based, when I join the meeting i.e launch Skype or MS teams, I then broadcast or share my desk top. When I then open the quiz app (in this case Jackbox party pack) the volume of the game app is lowered to a point where you can hardly hear it - non of the other participants can then hear the music/audio of the game app.

The volume through MS teams or Skype is fine - I can clearly hear the other players.

I've also tried playing music through the Ipad and this does the same

Would anybody have a fix so that the volume on the game app doesn't get lowered - the Ipad seems to preferential volume towards skype/teams

any help would be appreciated

Hi Pondi-uk,

It seems you're experiencing an issue with the volume on your iPad when using a specific app as it does work as expected when using other apps. We would suggest trying the steps in the following article for the app experiencing the issue, which does include contacting the app developer if needed:

If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
