All notifications are silenced except for calls and texts.

I’m big into following Twitter feeds. I have an iPhone 12 Mini and an Apple Watch 5. My twitter notifications would normally be dinging on my watch or phone all day. When I was still on IOS 14 one day I noticed I was no longer getting sounds attached to my notifications. I was still receiving sounds on texts and calls though.

I updated to iOS 15 hoping it would fix the problem. It did not. I have do not disturb in Focus off. The silent switch is switched on. All of my notifications that I would normally get are on with sound enabled. I even did a factory reset on my phone and watch. I also restored all the settings on my phone. That did not help.

I then performed a hard reset and refreshed my ram cache. Literally nothing has fixed this problem. I then checked the notifications setting in all of my apps such as twitter and Facebook. Whenever I get a text or call everything is fine with sound on the notifications. Every other app is silent.

What the heck is going on? This is driving me nuts and it seems like I am literally the only person on the internet with this problem.

I’m really close to completely wiping my devices and starting from scratch. I really don’t want to do that though. I’m assuming there is some kind of glitch happening with my phone.
