Front camera issues on Xr

Hey , I have been using iPhone Xr for around a week and i noticed that the front camera pictures are really pixelated . I am assured that the front camera is not a replaced one ; neither can i see any scratches on it . Only thing i have applied is a screen guard which covers the camera..is that the culprit ?

It works fine under certain circumstances , but most of the time i see bright light and glares.

I am attaching some samples where light is directly focused on to the lens , which might give you some idea about the issue
