Sony A1 ILCE-1 .ARW preview not working on newest MacOs
When they will add support for Sony A1 ILCE-1? As on current version you can't open them in preview

As the current Big Sur Camera Raw listing does not support the Sony A1, it won't be added now, and (maybe) it will be supported in macOS Monterey when it is released. At some point, Apple will make a camera raw support document available for Monterey to see which cameras are supported.
Right now, I just opened an ARW v4.0 Sony A1 raw image in Affinity Photo v1.10.1, and there is a fully functional, downloadable trial of this application on Affinity's website, and it is in the Mac App Store for a non-subscription $50USD. Affinity uses its own internal camera support library rather than, or in addition to Apple's camera RAW support.
I also just opened on macOS 11.6, the same Sony A1 raw image in a custom Python application that uses Apple's RAW support, and it listed all of the image metadata for me. This does not mean that there is Finder icon, or Quick Look support for this camera's images yet.

Just to add, you can preview the files in XnViewMP(free) and can convert them with Adobe DNG Converter(free).
Nobody knows exactly what Apple is going to do in the future. This is not the place for such questions.
You may ask for a workaround, at least.
Is Photoshop not able to do it?
Adobe Photoshop (+Bridge+Lightroom Classic+ Lightroom, btw) is in offer for just a about 10us$/month. I believe that's a very interesting offer. And Sony ILCE1is supported.
(wrong destinee once again, sorry, I'm on smartphone)
