I recently got the Animal Revolt Battle Simulator app on iPad for my grandson. Within a couple of days he has racked up $25 of in app purchases. In app purchases is turned off in Settings and the iPad is set to always require a password for purchases. Neither of these settings seem to have an effect. on ARBS. How does this happen and can it be fixed?

It sounds as though you've already reviewed the Use parental controls on your child’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch article, and verified the settings on the iPad. Have you also confirmed the iPad is running the latest iPadOS? If not, you can find the steps for updating in the following article.
