Suddenly the ability to write the time in e.g. the alarm app with digits dissappeared and I’m back to the scroll wheels. How do I get it back again? Was very simple to use.

That is correct, after feedback to the change in iOS 14 it has been reverted to the original scrolling wheel. As people left feedback after iOS 14 changes, it's best to let them know how you feel about the current change: http://apple.co/Feedback

To my previous answer. The UI has reverted back to the scroll wheel set up for choosing time in the alarm from what can be seen in the guide "How to set and manage alarms on your iphone" where I just write the time directly. How do I get it back is my question?
Although a helpful tip. It’s not persistent. After saving and then editing again, I need that extra tap again, and also on the upper half of the screen which not an obvious flow. Thanks though! 👍🏼
@Apple: if you make these changes whilst actually having both options still in there, give the users a setting option for their preference so they can choose themselves.
So the sudden change in UI is standard and I can only voice my opinion about it and not change it back? Or what do you mean I should do?
