I changed my password on my phone and I now get a request to change password on this iPad but when I go to screen to do it when prompted it appears for a second then disappeared before I have a chance to do anything can you help

Edit email settings I changed my password on my email and now I keep getting the message on my phone to edit outlook settings. I press the notification and it says to re enter my password. When I press re enter password nothing happens. I need to do this otherwise the notification will keep coming up
