launchpad is not working

It sounds like you are running into an issue when attempting to use Launchpad, is that right?

Since noticing this issue, has your Mac been restarted?

Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac

Does this happen in a new user as well?

Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

Also, be sure you are following these steps to use Launchpad: Use Launchpad on your Mac.
