iOS 15 Home app and HomeKit have excessive battery drain

Same here. iPhone 12 and HomePod mini. Same excessive requests in network.

No. I haven’t recognized those mentioned network impact in my network. All works fine.

The problem is no longer present for me with last iOS 15.4 on my iPhone and iPad.

Yeah I mean that’s a good work around but the issue still exists in 15.3.1 unfortunately. Looks like 15.4 should actually resolve it once released

For me it still exists on latest 15.4 . However I have not updated my Apple TVs and Homepods.

Same for me. Only one day's worth of data, but it looks good. My iPad barely lost any battery overnight.

No one with experience stories of 15.4.1 ?

for my it seems home now takes only 1% or 2% of battery usage per day. Maybe it’s fixed?

Not fixed for me, iOS 15.4.1 across all the devices, still having more than 6 hours usage in background :

I do not think it's due to a pinhole or dns tracker. I have none of them, but I have this issue!

Happily this simple switch has also fixed my iPads Pros battery drain too. All round very happy

You disabled FaceID?

Or is there some other facial recognition setting?

My iPad (7th Gen) doesn’t have FaceID.

Still have the same problem with iOS 15.4.1

After disabling facial recognition in HomeKit nothing changed. Still 50% battery drain.

so annoying

I've updated all devices, I even switch home off in iCloud but the problem still here :(
