ICloud storage and device storage

If you turn off iCloud storage for photos on your ipad will it do so across all your Apple devices on your account. Also does the 5 GB of free storage apply to each device or is it across all your devices? Thanks.

iPad Air, iOS 12

The 5GB free storage is linked to your Apple ID, not to a specific device. All devices using your Apple ID for iCloud share the storage.

Turning off iCloud Photos on one device does not turn it off on any other device. The following has more information about turning off iCloud Photos on a device: Get help with iCloud Photos - Apple Support
