I can't figure out how to turn subtitles on within Apple TV. I’m not able to locate the settings to access accessibility. What am I doing wrong?

I am old and addled and I just can’t figure out how to turn the subtitles on when I’m using the Apple TV. I don’t see where the settings are an option.
