Message notification badge issue?

I found a fix for the message notification badge issue as it correlates to still seeing an unread message badge notification on other Apple devices logged into to the same Apple ID even when you’ve already read the message on one of your Apple devices.

The fix for me was as follows:

1. Unplug the power cord from both the wireless router and modem.
2. Wait one minute.
3. Plug Modem in.
4. Wait until Modem lights are solid.
5. Plug wireless router back in.
6. Give it a couple minutes to startup.
7. Go to settings > general > transfer or reset iPhone.
8. Tap on reset.
9. Tap on reset network setting.
10. Once iPhone is started back up you can sign back onto wi-fi in settings > wi-fi.

Once I performed these steps when I read a message on one device there were no unread badges on any of my other devices using the same Apple ID for Messages.
